ALWAYS THINK ABOUT CHRIST JESUS

Whatever you do, don’t ever take your eyes off of Jesus. We are to look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). We look to him through the eyes of faith. This simply means that we keep him in our thoughts. How could it be that simple? How could it not be that simple?

How could someone think about Jesus and not be pleasing to God? When you are on someone’s mind, doesn’t that mean something special? When Jesus is on our minds, you can bet he cares. Does it seem like I am saying that Christianity is about thinking about Jesus all the time? Good, then you are hearing me correctly.

What else could it possibly be about? I don’t know how it got lost in the maze of human confusion, but Christianity is a simple religion. It is about loving the Son of God. Following him. Focusing on him. If it is not about that, then what could it possibly be about?

Keeping laws? When have you ever done that? When have you ever kept the law of God good enough to be saved on that basis? You are fooling yourself and you are a part of a foolish, man-made denomination if you think that you can be saved by keeping laws. What you should be thinking about is the fact that Jesus kept the laws. He did everything that had to be done to save us. And now we focus on loving him and seeking to please him. If you think about him you will do all of that. Everything will fall into place if you keep your mind on Jesus.
